There are so many myths and misunderstandings about bellydance. Here are a few things I wish everyone knew about belly dancing:

Belly dance fitness classes are all about fun..and sweat..but let’s be honest, we are focusing on the fun 🤩


šŸŒŽ Belly Dance is Multicultural

Belly dance has roots all over the world. Most of the technique featured in my class is Egyptian Cabaret and is taught from a fitness perspective.


šŸ Natural Movements

Belly dance movements are natural to the body. This means it may be easier for you to learn than you think.


šŸ’ƒšŸ»Fantastic Cardio

So many people do not understand what a great workout belly dance can be! My classes are heart pumping, soul sweating celebrations! I don’t know about you, but I would choose shimmying over running any day.


✨ Other Health Benefits

Belly dance has many benefits besides weight loss, like improved balance, posture and pelvic floor health, all while being gentle on the joints. We are only getting older you know, we need to protect our feet and knees


🤩 ALL bellydancers are beautiful

This is one of the most inclusive exercise classes you can find. Can’t twist your hips that way? Let me show you another option. Don’t like that kind of shimmy? Great news, there are hundreds of ways to shimmy. Class too easy? Let’s add some layers. There is something for everyone in this class and everyone is rocking their own style.

My classes are not about politics, religion, body shaming, comparison or sex. Everyone is welcome in class! We are here to sweat and have fun!
